CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics)
	CFD stands for "Computational Fluid Dynamics". In CFD any physical phenomena involving fluids is stated with a set of mathematical equations. These equations are then solved help of software on fast computers. Engineering problems, equipment or process design and modifications can first be tested with computer simulations before investing time and money in expensive prototypes and tests. All disciplines of engineering industry from automotive and aerospace to chemical and oil and gas benefit from Industry. CFD has been very popular with the automotive and aerospace industry from late eighties and early nineties. The usage of CFD has broken that image in the early 2000s and now encompasses all branches on engineering manufacturing involving fluid flow and heat transfer.

	Course Details	Duration : 25 hrs.
	• Brushing up fluid mechanics and heat transfer fundamentals • Derivation of Navier-Stokes equation • Solution Techniques: FDM, FEM and FVM • Introduction to GAMBIT and FLUENT
